Memberships

Various types of memberships are available to qualified applicants. Please review the categories below or contact us for clarification.

PHYSICIANS: Medical doctors (M.D.) and Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) Doctors of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) may apply by using the Physicians' Application link. Annual dues are $250.00

PROVISIONAL: Physician assistants (P.A.), Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN), and newly licensed physicians should select the Provisional Members' Application

Annual dues are $250.00

SPECIAL: Special members include fully retired physicians, honorary and associate members as well as inactive members. Please contact us or request the MCMS bylaws for details. Use the Special Members' Application to apply. Dues may be waived in this category.

Current members and former MCMS members (with a lapse of < 5 years or an updated application on file) do not need to complete an application form.

All Hawaii physicians, whether full time, part time, or retired are invited to join Hawaii Medical Association. HMA dues allow for an affiliation/membership in Maui County Medical Society. You will also be able to learn about & join the American Medical Association through the HMA website. Contact HMA at 808 536 7702 or visit their website at
